This role sits within Finance Operations, supporting the supply chain organization. Logistics represents a significant share of Accell’s cost structure, total sales value. As Business Controller Logistics, you will act as the finance partner to the logistics organization and support both operational performance management and strategic initiatives.
As Business Controller Logistics, you will provide financial oversight and analysis for logistics activities across the group. You will support the month-end process, monitor operational performance, and help translate logistics data into clear financial insights.
You will work closely with logistics leadership and finance stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment across regions. As Accell continues to move toward a more centralized logistics structure, this role will help bring together performance insights from different regions and support initiatives such as warehouse optimization and centralization.
Monthly performance reporting of logistics costs (Bikes, Parts, MU) at Group level
Supporting the month-end closing process, including logistics-related and warehouse closing activities
Monitoring the financial and operational performance of the logistics organization
Steering the budget and forecast process for logistics, including consolidation, review, and reporting
Preparing and maintaining monthly KPI reporting for logistics operations (e.g., handling and operational metrics)
Tracking savings from productivity and efficiency initiatives, including validation of new initiatives
Supporting and building strategic business cases, such as projects related to warehouse centralization or supply chain optimization
Acting as a finance business partner to the logistics leadership team, providing insights that support operational decision-making
Supporting the alignment of logistics performance across regions as the organization moves toward a more centralized structure
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
5+ years minimum of relevant experience in finance, controlling, or supply chain finance
Experience or exposure to logistics or supply chain processes
Ability to act as a business partner, linking finance with supply chain operations
Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders including FP&A, logistics leadership, and regional controllers
Experience working with ERP systems, Excel, and Power BI
Fluent English communication skills; Dutch is an advantage
A proactive mindset and the ability to work in an international environment
