Website Manager

About the role
The Website Manager will look after multiple branded websites within the Accell Group portfolio and will ultimately be responsible for ensuring they become the online flagship destinations. In other words, you will be responsible for making the brand come to life, working closely with brand managers as well as category managers, While they do not have eCom functionality just yet, the branded websites are immensely important gateways to the omnichannel experience and will eventually become the main channel for online distribution. What sets this role apart is the ownership and entrepreneurial spirit it demands. You will not follow orders or preset playbooks; you will make the essential decisions that directly impact the website’s success. Your tasks and responsibilities;

  • Website Ownership End-to-End: You will own the consumer journey on the website and translate that together with the various internal teams and external suppliers into UX/UI. You will also regularly update website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements to ensure accurate and current information;
  • Content Management: Publish content across various web pages as well as create new pages, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. Ensure content is published in a SEO friendly way, including tagging and formatting;
  • Product & Dealer information: Update product and dealer information as needed, including publishing new products and dealer partnerships;
  • Merchandising & UX: Monitor performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement in navigation, layout, and functionality;
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Address technical issues promptly, coordinating with developers or IT support to resolve any website-related problems whether broken links, functionality errors, or performance issues;
  • Feature development: You will work together with the Product Owner(s) to feedback on new feature development, enable user testing and more;
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor performance against targets on soft KPIs, surface actionable insights and create a data-driven roadmap to improve performance;
  • Security Management: Together with external supplier, maintain website security measures, including regular backups, software updates, and vulnerability assessments, to protect against cyber threats and ensure data integrity;
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and IT, to align website strategies with broader organizational goals and initiatives;
  • SEO webmaster: you will closely collaborate with the SEO specialists and the development team and ensure that the website is managed in line with technical SEO best practices in mind.

Your stakeholders

  • The Branding Team: in order to ensure the marketing calendar and the branding ethos is reflected on the website;
  • The Technical Teams: both internal and external, ranging from POs, developers UX experts and more to ensure the website is functional;
  • The Data Team: to ensure we are empowered with the right level of data to take decisions at speed;
  • Digital Marketing Team: to ensure the website support the trafficking strategy and vice versa.

What do you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Marketing, or related field;
  • Proven experience (3 years) in website management, preferably in a similar industry or role;
  • Experience with various types of CMS and platforms;
  • Experience with web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a strong plus;
  • Understanding of SEO principles and techniques, with a track record of improving website rankings and organic traffic;
  • Highly analytical and number savvy, with in-depth experience using GA4, Hotjar, A/B testing tools and other technologies to drive actionable insights;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify technical challenges based on data insights, as well as address them with the right teams that can troubleshoot them;
  • Effective communication and project management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate dependencies with different teams;
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
