Test Engineer

About the job
As a CRT Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role within our CRT department. By testing parts, assemblies, and complete bikes to internal and international standards, you and your team members will ensure that each product meets the highest level of performance and safety. By helping to optimize the processes within CRT, you will contribute to the consistency and efficiency of our testing processes and ensure that we maintain a uniform standard worldwide. By advising on testing and safety issues, you will emphasize commitment to risk management and ensure that our products not only excel, but also keep our customers safe. In addition, you document and report test results for transparency and continuous improvement. In addition to testing, calibrating instruments and maintaining test equipment is an important task so that our tests are always accurate and reliable.
Managing daily operations, preparing test reports, and following 5S procedures emphasize organizational skills and attention to detail, keeping our testing facility running smoothly and efficiently.

The test center is part of the global Accell Quality department. You will report to the Test Coordinator. You will work in an informal team in our new test lab in Heerenveen.

Your responsibilities 

• Planning your daily tasks preparing and executing test request on parts, assemblies and compete cycles;
• Provide timely information on testing and safety issues, ensure accurate data processing and compliance with company guidelines;
• Analyse the samples during/ after test and report the results in the applicable software
• Perform daily maintenance tasks in the testlab.;
• Submit proposals for testing methods and procedural changes and CRT test center roadmap;
• Report test results and notify supervisors of problems or non-compliance.

• You have a graduate degree inmechanical/ engineering;
• Familiarity with internal standards, test equipment and test lab management software;
• Ability to identify and assess risks and communicate effectively;
• Demonstrate a flexible and resourceful approach to problem solving and continuous improvement;
• Fluent in Dutch and English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
