About the job
Together with your team you set out the roadmap and deploy it into daily operations. In the daily operation the team develops (new) test-setups and test procedures. You and the team ensure that the planning and the quality of the tests will meet the high expectations. You are in close contact with internal and external stakeholders and monitor progress and growth by means of KPI’s and continuous improvement programs. Centralization and synergy within the Accell are essential for optimizing (internal) processes.
Development does not stand still, and you ensure that you keep abreast of developments in testing standards, test fixtures and test procedures and inform the team about them, e.g. ISO 17025. HSE and calibration are your responsibility and proper documentation is required to meet mandatory requirements. You ensure that the team is qualified for the work and work instructions and tools are up to date so that all documentation can be properly reviewed within the team (compliance and reliability) and requested by applicants.
You will work closely with the Test Coordinator, Test Engineers, Test Qualification Engineer, project leaders and external labs. Together you form a vital unit. They provide the technical content knowledge, you are a genius when it comes to processes around control, planning and processing such as departmental performance. You motivate knowledge building and effective working methods. You keep a sharp eye on timelines and always strive for improvement. You monitor speed and quality when deadlines need to be met. As one team you stand behind the products and the delivered test reports.
You are keen on the internal processes and where you see improvement opportunities, you identify these in order to achieve a better process together. You monitor the progress of KPIs and various test requests and intervene where necessary. You maintain good contact with your stakeholders and if things do not come around, you expect adjustments to be made.
